Choose Your Configure HDFS Data Temperature Report Procedure

There are two “flavors” of the Configure HDFS Data Temperature Report procedure. Choose the one that corresponds to your environment’s installation framework.

• Configure HDFS Data Temperature Report (Parcel)—For installation on a Cloudera Manager-managed cluster, with a Parcel package for Pepperdata.

• Configure HDFS Data Temperature Report (RPM/DEB)—For package manager installations on any Hadoop distro, with an RPM or DEB package for Pepperdata.
